ABOUT ME

My passion is art; the art of medicine and the art of painting. My life is about creation; the creation of new life through helping my patients to conceive children and the creation of art through distinguishable media. My informal painting career began in the early 1970s, I happened to start my medical career around the same time. Throughout my years in medical school and residency (the 70s and early 80s), I discovered my persona through art. I found that in both art and medicine beauty exists in creation, my unique perspective transcends both mediums. It was in the mid 1980's that I fortunately ended up in the emerging era of infertility. It was at this same time I started to experiment with abstract art and developed a focus on abstract expressionism working mainly with oil. Every artist adds his own twist on a common period or genre, I describe my artwork as Poetic Abstract.
